Space Invaders Hoodie
Not really robots - but as cool as... Space Invaders! And when they appear on an Argyle Hoodie (and winter is right around the corner) they deserve a write up.

Sushi & Robots
If you wanted to combine my two favourite things - it would have to be Sushi and Robots. Which makes me wonder why it took this long to come across the SushiAndRobots website.
Described as being a journal and portfolio, it showcases the work of Jina Bolton a San Francisco based designer, developer, author, and artist.
While she "digs sushi and robots", much of her site is dedicated to her web development work, though there are some great artist profiles with Robot inspired questions and images:

A-Z of Robots - help me find the artist!
I started a project a long time ago to do the A-Z of robots in Poetry format. However I gave up at A (is for Astro Boy).
Someone with a lot more time, patience and creativity than me has taken this one step further and has created this A-Z of Robots.
Unfortunately I have no information about who this artist is - or any links to more details aside from this link. So if you can help - please let me know.

SpongeBob SquarePants + The Terminator = ?
What happens when you combine SpongeBob SquarePants and a Robot... in lego format?
I can imagine it would look something like this:
Thanks to LikeCool for the link and to Rack911's Photostream.

i robot. i help. i hold. i work.
Apparently I should be 'nesting' at the moment. Really that has just involved spending hours online finding cool things that I am convinced I need for our house. Trawling through the hundreds of #robot tweets - I'm always happy when I dig out a gem from among the usual robot scam / spam tweets.
This one was passed on from @hilarypendleton and is really mandatory for any person that needs a helping hand to hold things.

Daft Punk Coca Cola Commercial
Coca Cola isn't technically robot-themed - but when it comes to music - Daft Punk are Robot Masters.
So it is kind of cool that Coca Cola is releasing Limited Edition Coca Cola bottles whose design us based on the signature helmets worn by the duo.
As reported on HypeBeast:
Following a successful collaboration with Mika in 2010, soft drink giant Coca-Cola follow-up on some exclusively designed bottles with Coca-Cola “Club Coke.” Produced in two distinctive colorways based on Daft Punk mimicking the helmets worn by the French duo, the gold and silver bottles will see a limited production run beginning in March 2011. In addition to the general release at clubs, the bottles will be packaged in a collector’s box as a set, made available exclusively through colette in Paris. Further information on this project will become available through Daftcoke.com, which goes live in a few months
In the mean time - you can also check out the Teaser Commercial.
